 North Lincoln Fire & Rescue District #1 (NLFR) serves the Lincoln City area and surrounding communities on the central Oregon coast. The district covers multiple communities, including DeLake, Drift Creek, Kernville, Neotsu, Otis, Rose Lodge, Schooner Creek, Siletz River, and Taft. NLFR was formed through the merger of two older fire districts in 1997 and has since been dedicated to providing high-quality emergency services, including fire suppression, emergency medical response, and public safety education. The department is committed to community involvement, partnering with residents to promote safety and preparedness through initiatives like outdoor burning regulations and public safety coordination​.
