Established to serve the community of Cascade Locks, the agency is dedicated to providing efficient and effective fire suppression, emergency medical services, and fire prevention education. The department is staffed by a team of dedicated professionals and volunteers who are trained to respond to a variety of emergencies. Their mission is to protect life, property, and the environment through education, prevention, and response. The department continually strives to enhance its services through training and community engagement.
